Volunteer Organizing
The Volunteer Organizing Committee (VOC) was created to encourage participation and to promote unity within the district council. Members meet once a month to discuss projects, inform the membership on possible contractor violations and to participate in peaceful demonstrations. The VOC strongly believes in promoting a healthy and harmonious relationship between contractors, members and the union. For more information on the VOC, please call 808-941-0991.
Meetings
Volunteer Organizing Committee Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:00 PM at the District Council 50 Headquarters Building 2240 Young Street, Honolulu, Hawaii. All members are encouraged to join and get involved.
