    Ikaika Anderson for City Council

Thanks in part to the coordinated efforts of the District Council 50, Ikaika Anderson has been newly elected to the Honolulu City Council seat that represents Kailua, Kaneohe and Waimanalo.  Anderson, the former aide of the late Barbara Marshall, has captured the seat for the third district and has pledged his continued support of the rail project.  As you all are aware, the rail will undoubtedly employ a large part of our membership, as well as help to improve our down economy.  We are thankful for the outpouring of support from all of the members who took time out to sign wave for Ikaika during his campaign.  We couldn’t have done it without all of you!  Congratulations and Best Wishes Ikaika!
